Bio
Dan Eckman is a writer/director whose first feature film, Mystery Team, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was released by Lionsgate. He has also directed the NBC sitcom Community. The short films he made for his sketch comedy group, Derrick Comedy, have been viewed over 200 million times online. Dan also directed the MTV movie Worst. Prom. Ever., the Childish Gambino music videos Freaks and Geeks and Bonfire, developed a movie for Hasbro, directed the musical travel docuseries Song Voyage, directed multiple ad campaigns, and is the former Video Production Director for Blue Man Group.
